Gilbane Report is Here!
The Gilbane report, Multilingual Product Content, co-sponsored by Lasselle-Ramsay, is now available for download here. The report provides insight into making the business case to upper management for investment in managing multilingual content, as well as an overview of technologies and best practices for getting the most out of the "global content value chain." New Project: NET
This month, Lasselle-Ramsay started a new project with Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. in Fremont. NET provides voice and data communications equipment for multi-service networks for federal and international agencies and organizations. Lasselle-Ramsay will work with NET to help them get a Wiki initiative off the ground and to convert their legacy content to a Wiki for better internal collaboration.

LR Moves to Support Increase in Government Projects
On June 22, Lasselle-Ramsay launched a new web page, www.lr.com/Government to support our government business. Lasselle-Ramsay has worked with government agencies at the federal, state, and local level as both a prime and tier-two supplier. LR is a prime to the Department of Treasury (US Mint) and this year served as a training partner for VerizonBusiness. The new page is dedicated help support this growing part of our business.

WIPP
Lasselle-Ramsay has recently become a national member of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP). WIPP is a bipartisan organization with over half a million members which educates and advocates on behalf of women and minorities in business. Since its inception in June of 2001, WIPP has reviewed, provided input, and has taken specific positions on many economic issues and policies which affect the bottom line of its membership. The issues cover a broad range of current legislation and/or policies such as affordable health care, leveling the playing field for women-owned and minority-owned businesses, opening up federal procurement policies for small businesses, on the implementation of well-established federal law which seeks to encourage women and minorities in the marketplace, tax policies, energy, telecom, etc. To learn more about WIPP, visit their website, www.wipp.org.
