Recorded Webinars Now Available
In September and October, Tom Voltz presented a two-part webinar series, "Secrets to Cheaper, Faster and Better DITA Implementations." If you attended one or both, we'd like to hear your feedback; please contact Tom directly if you have any comments or questions. If you were unable to attend, we are pleased to announce both recorded webinars are now available on our website.
In Part I, Tom presented some of the most important but frequently overlooked architectural aspects of DITA that you can leverage to improve and simplify your DITA adoption process. The right DITA architectural approach will
- dramatically decrease training costs
- increase consistency and accuracy of your content
- simplify your stylesheet customization
In Part II, Tom walked through a simplified example which demonstrates how to construct a DITA architecture for a documentation set and how the right approach will simplify DITA authoring, managing, and publishing content.

Joan's presentation will show how focusing on user needs combined with the use of a content maturity model can help provide a basis for continuous process improvement, help prioritize and focus projects, and provide the understanding needed to address a global audience. She will also introduce LR's new CIA tool, based on the Content Maturity Model.
